Board of Directors

Dianne Trickey-Rokenbrod – President

Dianne  is a practicing Occupational Therapist, has her MBA and teaches at Keuka College . Her long-standing love for the theater however has lead her to the ARTS Council. Dianne acts, mainly in character parts (most recently as Dottie Ottley, Noises Off 2009), as well as directs (Barefoot in the Park, Nunsense and A Christmas Carol). Just as frequently Dianne can be found behind the light board at the back of the auditorium, designing and running lights for a variety of productions. Dianne is currently the Secretary for the Arts Council, and represents area theatrical interests on the Board of Directors.

Matt Flint – Vice President

Matthew has been drawing since he can remember. Picking up a pencil as early as age two, he has ventured through many different mediums taking his own direction with each. Matt graduated from Alfred-Almond Central School and continued his education at Alfred State College majoring in computer animation. He is defines himself as a digital artist,  pursuing illustration and commercial art work. He joined the arts council in early 2009 and has recently been voted in as Vice President.

Amy Mikolajczyk – Treasurer

Mom of six, Amy has been painting since she was 13 years old. She specializes in landscapes, most especially in acrylic but also in oil and watercolor. She also blogs philosophy and writes inspirational pieces, as well as fiction.

Becky Shick – Secretary

Becky is production/operations director at Howell, Liberatore & Wickham, Inc., a full service advertising and marketing firm in Elmira, NY.

Becky has taught classes at RIT’s School of Print Media and is the Rochester chapter representative of the Adobe InDesign User Group, providing technical insight and application education to chapter members in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Elmira and Corning.

Prior to moving back to her hometown of Hornell in 2005, Shick worked in the greater New York area in the both publication and commercial printing. Becky has a passion for photography, a love of hers since her parents presented her with her first Kodak Instamatic as a child.

Becky holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Communication Media from SUNY Alfred, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Printing Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Masters of Business Administration Degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

Antonio H. Intili – Director

Antonio  H.

Antonio has been a Hornell resident for 36 years, but has traveled around the US “a bit”.  A musician, producer, and songwriter,  Antonio has been involved with local bands during practice, recordings, and performances for many years. He is currently working on his own musical project, OVERFLOW…undercurrent, plus two other collaborative projects Psyonecra and Eklekteka. His duties on the council include, coordinating musical performances and assisting other HAAC directors with council activities.

Douglas Sciorra – Steuben Gallery coordinator

Doug Sciorra

Doug has always been practicing art, music, and improvisation. He’s been called an artist and philosopher since he was old enough to make acquaintances. He has been a board member of the Hornell Area Arts Council since 2009, helping others achieve their own goals in the wide world of art, and continuing his own education by learning how non-profit organizations work.
